As a drummer myself, I can understand Desi's almost crazed look at 1:24. There is something about percussion instruments. When played together - conga drum, maracas, cowbells - all playing something slightly different but syncopated and fitting together perfectly, it just takes hold of you in an indescribable and totally ecstatic way. I know, because I've felt it myself and it's absolutely mind blowing - better than any drug.....

Loved him in Star Trek and loved him in Fantasy Island. The guy was pure class, always carried himself well! Graceful and Classy. I miss him!

I understand it was Desi who insisted on filming the shows using cinematic quality tapes despite the expense - which the "experts" deemed foolish. And so "I Love Lucy" became immortal whereas the unfillmed other early TV shows are lost

When he was a young actor, the man was in phenomenal shape. Right up until his passing, the man was just pure masculinity with a physique a lot of males of any age bracket wished they had, but infused with old world charm and grace. This is why people to this day still speak so highly of him and why I admire him.

Ricardo is the greatest Spainard in history! I know he was born in Mexico. But unlike most Mexicans he was pure Castillian. Ricardo was the personification of Spanish grace and charm!
